Beginner Spinning for a Hat

Curious about spinning your own yarn? This class is the perfect place to start! No spinning wheel? No problem—we’ll provide several different models for you to try so you can explore what works best for you. In this small, hands-on class (limited to 4 students), you’ll learn the basics of spinning wool into yarn, starting with 4 oz. of beautiful, hand-dyed Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) top, dyed by your instructor. Along the way, you’ll discover the satisfaction—and confidence boost—that comes from creating something truly unique with your own hands. Once you’ve spun your very own skein, we’ll follow up with a knitting session where you’ll turn your yarn into a cozy, one-of-a-kind hat!
